Patricia A. Farrell-Shear Patricia Farrell-Shear joined R. L. Townsend & Associates, Inc. in 2008 as a Senior Associate.
She brings 25 years of professional experience in Construction and IT Project Management, Contract Administration, Vendor Relations, Facilities Maintenance, and Audit Management. Prior to joining R. L. Townsend & Associates, Inc., Patricia coordinated the annual SAS 70 Audit for the Risk & Compliance department within the Alliance Data Systems Utilities Services division. Having spent almost 20 years with American Airlines Inc., she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within the airline travel industry.She specialized in developing and leading effective customer service and project teams in the Reservations, Airport Operations and Premium Services organizations, managed Information Technology development projects for employees and customer facing systems, oversaw the operation and building maintenance for a number of facilities worldwide, and administered vendor/contractor agreements. She has held a variety positions within the design and construction industries, representing the owner, architect and construction manager.As a Contract Administrator for two architectural design firms, she coordinated the execution of contract documents in the field during the construction of commercial and industrial buildings. While working as an Owner’s Representative, she provided project management services for state-wide bank branch facility design and construction.Early on in her career she served as an Assistant Project Manager for a construction manager specializing in schools, commercial and industrial building construction. Patricia is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a member of the Fort Worth, TX Project Management Institute (PMI) Chapter. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, specializing in Construction Management.
