Why the Firm was Formed

Based on the observations and experiences of the firm's founder, there appeared to be a business need for specialized contract compliance consulting services for organizations who did not have the in-house staff to review controls over construction expenditures.


In particular, there appeared to be a need for these services for companies who did not have internal audit staffs to conduct contract compliance audit work.


Secondly, even when companies had internal audit staffs, they often times did not have adequate staffing to devote enough time to become highly specialized in conducting these audits. This was often due to the fact that many audit staffs were small to start with, or experienced enough turnover so that it was hard to develop and keep expertise in this area.

We felt that in most cases, it would be more economically feasible for organizations to hire a specialized consultant in this area on an as needed basis, rather than hire full-time staff and train them.
